Meet Our Presenters:
Kirsten Powers, MA, BCBA is a behavior analyst with Trumpet Behavioral Health’s Chicagoland division. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working in the field for over 5 years. Kirsten received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University in 2014. Kirsten has experience working with a variety of age groups and has experience working in a variety of environments including center, home, and community based settings.
Josh Sleeper, M.Ed, BCBA serves dual roles for Trumpet Behavioral Health as Director of Operations Standards and Regional Director of Trumpet’s Illinois locations. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analysts and has been working in the field for over 15 years. Josh received Masters of Education from the University of Phoenix in 2009, as well as a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of California – Berkeley in 2003. Says Josh, “My professional experience comprises field experience and training which has afforded me the opportunity to hone my skills in an applied setting and develop a unique perspective on how to partner with families to develop a service that is valued and effective.”
